Another visit

Molly came to visit me again this morning and this time she brought her mum with her. Her mum isn't really a 'dog person' but I'm so cute that she fell in love with me ;)

I've been finding my feet over the last few days but today I was fed just before Molly and her mum arrived so I was very sleepy while they were here. I did give them a quick demonstration of how well I can walk (although it was hard on the kitchen floor - my legs kept sliding out from under me!) but mostly I just had cuddles.

Molly took lots of photos so here are a few of them. I'm 28 days old now. My coat is black, I'm not sure why I look brown on the first couple of photos. And you must excuse the food around my face, I've just started to be weaned so I get food everywhere when I eat!

The people we live with said Molly can come back & visit me whenever she likes so hopefully it won't be too long til I see her again. In the meantime they're going to take some video footage of me & my siblings at dinner time (making a mess) & send it to Molly.

24 days old

Here are a couple of photos of me which were taken today. I'm now 24 days old and getting a bit bigger.

Hello

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Toto and I'm a black miniature schnauzer. I'm only 20 days old so I'm still living with my parents, four sisters and brother. There are also seven of my half siblings (who are just a few days older than me) and some other relatives living here so it's quite a busy (& noisy!) house at the moment!

Lots of people have been coming to see us over the last week. Last Friday a nice woman called Molly came to visit, with her dad Chris. Molly made lots of fuss of me and my brother. He squealed a lot when he wasn't with the rest of our siblings and mum whereas I was well behaved and let Molly cuddle me. And I didn't do any wees while she was holding me, unlike my brother who wee'd in our bed! Molly said that she'd like to take me home when I'm big enough so that sounds exciting!

My ears were only just opening when Molly came (and my eyes had just opened the day before) but I did hear her asking lots of questions and talking about all the research and preparation she's been doing because she wants to give me a good life. I think I'll enjoy living with her. She said she'd come back in a few weeks to see me again so I'm looking forward to that.

This photo was taken of me and my brother when we were just 4 days old, weren't we tiny?!

And these photos were taken when Molly was cuddling me last week (when I was 14 days old)
